Milan Keep Scudetto Race Alive as Juve Couldn’t Stop Winning

Ac Milan still doesn’t give up their Scudetto hope as the Rossoneri continue on picking up another three points after battering home team Siena 4-1 with Zlatan Ibrahimovic scoring a brace while Antonio Cassano get himself back in the score sheet and Antonio Nocerino netted his 10th league goal for Rossoneri.

The home team only managed to pull one goal back through Erjan Bogdani, which obviously was not enough to trouble the current Scudetto holder, who had a rather comfortable match despite not actually playing superb football.

Getting his first starting place after returning from a long term injury, Cassano was simply proving how much Milan missed him along this season with his creative performance up front partnering Ibrahimovic. The duo’s combination earned Milan their opening goal when Ibra’s attempted cross was actually saved by Brkic but the goalie spilled it only for the joy of Cassano, who easily pounced the ball into the net.

Another Ibra-Cassano combination resulted the second goal for the Rossoneri, this time the Italian international’s pass find Ibrahimovic inside the box, who immediately smashed his shot into Siena’s net. The home team pulled one back through Bogdani’s tap in the 83rd minute but Milan extended their lead in the last few minutes with Nocerino’s lovely individual goal followed by the Swedish international’s 26th in this campaign.

Meanwhile, Juventus continue their winning run which doesn’t seem to be ending after trashing home team Novara 4-0 with two goals from Mirko Vucinic and one each by Marco Borrielo along with Arturo Vidal. It was another comfortable win for the Turin giant as their basic strategy in seeking a goal before the first 20 got successful with Vucinic netting the opener in the 17th minute and simply made things easier for Antonio Conte’s side after that.

Borriello netted his second goal in a row five minutes before the break before Vidal scored Juve’s third and simply sealed tie as the home team just can’t seem to do nothing much in breaking down the Turin machine. Vucinic ended Juve’s four goal show in the 64th minute and as always, the Bianconeri just strolled pass the match reserving some energy as they already grabbed all important three points which brings them closer to the title.
