Having already been linked with several players in the transfer market, Ac Milan got another name being added on their long list as reports from Italy suggested that the Rossoneri are very close to sign As Roma’s attacking midfielder, Jeremy Menez.
According to Mediaset, the Serie A champion have already made a personal agreement with the wantaway Frenchman and will soon submit an official bid for the Giallorossi’s management.
Milan reportedly are very confident that their offer will get a positive signal from the capital club, especially after the two clubs made a deal for Marco Borriello’s last summer. The Rossoneri are preparing cash no more than 10 million Euro for the talented player, and although doesn’t sound expensive in today’s inflated market, the number could be good enough considering that Menez is looking to leave the club after having some issues with the fans and management.
This potential transfer news came in a bit of surprise as recently the Rossoneri are being connected with other players, such as Axel Witsel, Alberto Aquilani and Ricardo Montolivo or a certain midfielder that can play in the left side of midfield. However, Menez’s name has actually been linked with the fashion capital side during the half way of the season when the Frenchman starts to lose his starting spot after the arrival of Vincenzo Montella as Roma’s coach.
Should t Menez’ transfer does go trough, the attacking midfielder will be the second ex-Roma player that join Milan next summer as previously, Philippe Mexes, has already been confirmed of joining the Rossoneri on a free transfer. The 24-years-old would definitely be a welcome addition for the fashion capital side, who are building a younger and more competitive team to also challenge for Champions League success next summer.”
