Man City Thump AC Milan In Audi Cup Matchup

DzekoManchester City totally outclassed AC Milan to book a place in the final of the pre-season Audi Cup tournament in Germany today.
It was a case of men against boys in the opening 30 minutes when Man City scored five goals against a relatively experimental Milan side.

David Silva put City ahead in the 3rd minute and Manuel Pellegrini’s side doubled their lead in the 19th minute thanks to Micah Richards before Aleksandar Kolarov added a third shortly after.

Edin Dzeko then scored twice within the space of four minutes to put City 5-0 ahead but the Italians saved some face with two goals from Stephan El Shaarawy and an Andrea Petagna strike to reduce the deficit going into half-time.

The second half brought a flurry of changes, but no more goals as City booked their place in Thursday’s final.

I know that Man City are a little further along in their fitness than AC Milan, and its just a preseason game, but Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri has to be worried at the ease that City carved them open in that opening 30 minutes.
