What can be said about Luis Fabiano? The guy is red hot and he and everyone else in La Liga is perfectly aware of this fact. Fabiano scored two goals this weekend against the Yellow Submarines and Sevilla edged out the blossoming squad 3-2 thanks to the offensive performance from the Brazilian. Fabiano has three goals in his last two league games, but what is most impressive about the man’s statistics is his four assists in UEFA Champions League matches.
Well it seems like every player on Barcelona will at some point be honored as the week’s best. And young Pedro is no exception t0 the rule. Somehow the twenty-two year old finds ways to get on the pitch and once he is on the field his chances of scoring go through the roof. Pedro has three goals on the season in nine limited appearances (he started about half the matches), but last weekend he would be the difference maker for Barcelona in their tough match against Mallorca. Pedro scored twice and Barca won once again 4-2. Now who will be the man next week?
Deportivo La Coruna
It’s not often that we praise dirty players here at the LLTO, but Deportivo La Coruna beat Getafe 2-0 despite playing a man down for most of the match. Riki left the pitch following a red card in the 26th minute and that wouldn’t stop Deportivo from scoring two goals a man down. Then in the second half Sergio was sent off as well and Deportivo sealed the victory over Getafe 2-0 down two men.
