Well when you’re on the same team as Messi, Ibrahimovic, Henry, Iniesta, Xavi, among others it is easy to be overlooked if you’re name is Seydou Keita. But last weekend the Barcelona midfielder continued to add on to his strong start for Barcelona by putting three goals into the back of the net against new boys Real Zaragoza. Keita and Barca would cruise to a 6-1 victory and the midfielder now has five goals on the year. Not bad for a sixth or seventh option on offense for your squad. And also not bad when your squad hasn’t lost a league match all season.
In a match that heavily favored the away side, Valladolid’s own Aleman would be the difference maker that would give the host’s side a push in the right direction. Valladolid would go on to win 4-0 over Deportivo La Coruna and Aleman would score twice in the first fifty minutes to give his side the edge. Now with four goals in five matches, midfielder Aleman gives Valladolid a consistent goal scorer so far this season.
Well all the jokes about the Yellow Submarines should soon subside as the squad was finally able to achieve a victory last weekend in a 2-1 match over lowly Malaga. The win doesn’t mean much of anything yet, but if the boys can continue to regain their confidence then they should finish the year at least half way up the table. But the win was necessary because the Yellow Submarines were quickly sinking and hopefully they have resurfaced for good.
