LLTO La Liga Top Performers

Roberto Soldado

Well he and his team are not the most consistent squad in the bunch, but when Roberto Soldado is on his game the whole world should take note.  Soldado has proven the expression, “when it rains it pours” to be true with his two hat trick performances this season.  The first treble took place the first week of the season and after a one goal scoring draught that lasted about three months, Soldado has done it again.  He only has seven goals this year which is pretty good considering he has only scored in three games, but Getafe’s foe Xerez should be jealous because Soldado has more goals then their entire team does combined with only 3.

Sergio Aguero

Aguero has been in the news recently with a possible transfer over to Chelsea.  But last weekend the twenty one year old made headlines as a player with Atletico Madrid.  Aguero scored twice for his short term team and increased his Serie A total to six goals for the season.  Aguero had a fantastic November scoring four league play goals and two in Champions League play as well.  those two were likely the most valuable being that he scored them against his future squad, Chelsea.

Barcelona

Well somebody deserves recognition from el clasico and why not Barcelona for recapturing first place and beating rivals Real Madrid by a single goal in the home match.  Messi started despite his injury (which surprised one Yank), but it was Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s who would score the only goal.  Ibs came in as a sub in the second half and did the deed that Golden Boot winners do.  He put the ball into the back of the net.
