What is going on with Real Madrid? With three losses in their last five matches I guess they really do miss this Cristiano Ronaldo guy. Real will look to bounce back from their terrible loss earlier in the week to a squad I have never heard of, Alcorcon, but if Real Madrid continues to play like they did against this third tier squad then it could feel a lot longer then a few weeks without their key star player. Getafe, on the other hand, is currently sitting in eight place and know that now is the best time of the year to pull off the road upset over the reeling powerhouse squad.
Barcelona, Real Madrid, Sevilla, Valencia, and Osasuna? I’ll admit that the last name there doesn’t fit in as well as the rest, but Osasuna has played very well recently and deserve to be a team that is currently in tenth place. Two weekends ago they took it to Atletico Madrid 3-0 and this weekend they look to add another notch to their belt with a victory over Barcelona. Barca what can be said about them other than that they are the best squad in the world and are still trying to avoid their first league loss of the entire season.
Deportivo La Coruna-Sporting Gijon
This battle hosts two top ten squads both itching to become top six squads with a victory this weekend. Deportivo La Coruna looks to forget about their 4-0 loss to Valladolid last weekend; whereas Sporting Gijon has been one of the hotter teams recently and continue to move up the league board.
