Leonardo For Brazil’s Top Job

Former AC Milan head coach Leonardo has openly declared his availability for the Selecao’s top job after Dunga was fired on Sunday. Leonardo resigned at the end of the season after guiding the Rossoneri to a decent 3rd place finish in spite of their indifferent form as the season wound down to a close.

Leonardo is majorly responsible for Ronaldinho’s superb form which saw him finish the season as the league’s player with the most assists.  Whether Leonardo will be picked as Dunga’s successor is still not certain, however, one thing the CBF can be sure of is that Leonardo is an excellent choice.

Meanwhil, Milan star Ronaldinho added fuel to his raging transfer debate when he refused to answer questions pertaining to his future. The play maker was relaxing in a Rio beach and as you would guess caught the attention of curious on lookers who did not hesitate to capitalise on their golden opportunity to talk to this rare talent.

“I will stay quiet until the end of the World Cup, it’s nothing personal. I am on holiday now,” although far from convincing, that is all he said.

It remains to be seen whether Ronaldinho will put pen to paper and accept Milan’s reduced offer or whether he will leave in search of greener pastures. Milan would struggle if Ronaldinho were to leave and by the look of things, all Rossoneri fans should brace themselves in case of such an eventuality.
