This week there is sure to be a few match-ups that will make you want to flip. (Sorry for that terrible pun) Anyway let’s take a look at this weekends upcoming matches and try and predict who will win and who will lose.
Deportivo La Coruna has shown early in the year a competitive fire that should make them a contender for a top five finisher this season. In their debut match they nearly tied Real Madrid in a 3-2 loss. And last week the club prevailed against Malaga. Espanyol on the other hand is winless going into this one. Deportivo should win 2-0. As for the second match of the weekend we like Mallorca to beat new boys Tenerife at home 2-1.
Osasuna should have to much to handle in a match against Sevilla. Luis Fabiano & Co. should win this one 3-0 over the big O. Malaga should make good use of homefield and win 2-1 over Racing Santander. Getafe will convert back to their first week ways and beat Almeria on the road 2-1. Athletic Bilbao should finally lose a match and Villareal should finally win in their faceoff. Villareal 2-0 winners in that one.
Barcelona will win once again (would I ever pick against the treble winners) this time over Athletico Madrid (who really could use the win). Barca win easily 3-1 with an Ibs goal. And speaking of teams that it is not wise to pick against how about a 4-0 victory for Real Madrid over Xerez. And in the final two matches of the week Valencia should cruise to a victory over Sporting Gijon 3-0, and Valladolid should achieve a road win over Real Zaragoza.
