Krasic Admitted Staying at Juve Was a Mistake

Juventus’ wantaway winger, Milos Krasic, who decided to stay and ride his luck on January has apparently regretted his decision as it was revealed by the player’s himself admitting there were interesting offers for him during the winter market.

Krasic confessed that he was being approach by the likes of Zenit St. Petersburgh and also Tottenham Hotspurs at that time but the Serbian apparently still believe there’s a chance for him to break into Juve’s squad after the winter break.

Unfortunately, Krasic’s wishes didn’t came through as up till this moment he hasn’t been getting anymore playing time under Antonio Conte’s reign, something that has been happening since the early part of Serie A. Considering the fact that the Turin giant has been doing well in the league at the moment, obviously there’s no minor voices arriving about the Serbian international’s being outcast from the first team despite being one of Juve’s best players last season.

I made a mistake, I should have left. Zenit St Petersburg and Tottenham wanted me on loan in January, but I decided to stay and fight for my spot. “I’m not in the game here at Juventus, there is no space for me, “ Krasic told Serbian media.

Furthermore, the winger also added that despite not having playing time, he is still working hard in keeping his shape since it would be important in getting interested clubs to sign him next summer. The former CSKA Moskow man believes that leaving Turin would simply be the best option for both parties especially since he is now convinced that Conte isn’t considering him one bit for a spot in the Bianconeri squad.

I’m disappointed that I have to leave Juventus, but boss Antonio Conte won’t consider me so leaving is the best decision for everyone. All that I can do is to continue to train so that I remain in shape ahead of next season,” Krasic added.

It’s a bit tragic experience indeed for the Serbian winger as after his excellent debut with Juventus last season, many people believed that he will have a break out and comfortable time in his second year. However, another change of coach along with management apparently brings such a bitter end for the player’s future in Turin and possibly even Italy, as reports claimed that he is heading to premier league this summer.
