Kaka’s time at Real Madrid might be ending sooner than any of us thought. The 28 year old Brazilian has struggled for fitness ever since joining Los Blancos a year ago raising concern as to whether he will see out his contract.
With Mourinho openly stating that he would not hinder any transfer involving the play maker, a number of clubs have come out to express their desire to sign Kaka. Inter Milan, Sao Paolo and even Milan have all been linked with Kaka.
Like i always say, some rumours and reports are worth ingnoring and this one is definitely one of them. Apparently, reports doing the rounds in Italy suggest that Milan are ready to bring back their fallen hero to the San Siro at the expense of Ronaldinho.
With the Rossoneri yet to offer Dinho a new deal on his contract, and with Kaka nearing an exist from Madrid, it is believed that Milan will sacrifice Dinho for Kaka by letting him see out his contract without renewing it.
Kaka’s old club Sao Paolo have also entered the race to sign him. Club Vice President Carlos Augusto De Barros said that he would love to re-sign Kaka if a transfer to another European club fails.
“The news is surprising, [Kaka] has been linked by all the media with a liberation by Mourinho. There is a huge distance however between him being freed and coming to play in Sao Paulo. For now there is no offer, but we would love to open one up. I am sure that, if this did happen, every Sao Paulo fan would be delighted,” the official said on Wednesday evening.
“The deal will only succeed if Kaka has the will. When an athlete wants something, it will probably happen. Whenever he comes to Brazil he stays with us, he is a part of our family. Everyone has a great affection for him and this could be a factor that helps our cause… If it was possible, it would be fantastic.” Augusto said this after Sao Paolo’s 2-0 victory over Vitoria.
Its now a waiting game as Madrid are yet to open any negotiations with either of the clubs involved.
