Although Diego Forlan was looking to end his career at Atletico Madrid, Serie A club, Juventus, is now showing a growing interest in signing the Uruguayan striker for the Spanish club. As the Bianconeri desperately look for a striker to fill the role, the Italian club thinks that it’s Forlan that can take over Fabio Quagliarella’s spot.
Having asked for Forlan on a loan originally, it looks like Juventus will be looking into offering Atletico some cold-hard cash for Forlan. However, many reports from Spain are claiming that Atletico Madrid are not looking into selling their top striker and it will take a lot from Juventus if they are looking to sign the 2010 World Cup Golden Ball winner.
