Having reportedly closing in on grabbing Giuseppe Rossi from Villarreal, reports emerged in Italy saying that Juventus are still hunting for an expensive top striker in the market as the Turin giant are rumored to be battling for Carlos Tevez with Inter Milan.
Juventus’ interest on Tevez was first revealed by Corinthians president, Andres Sanchez, who said that the Turin giant are offering an amount worth around 52 million Euro for the Argentinian internatioanal, while Nerazzurri said to immediately submit their should Wesley Sneijder left for Manchester United.
Juventus’ proposal for Tevez is somewhat a surprising one since in the last few days, the news have mainly paired them with the likes of Sergio Aguero and Giussepe Rossi, but instead they’re also eying the Manchester City striker. Making the news more sensational is simply the amount of money that the Turin giant are willing to pay for the ex-Manchester United striker, considering they’re reportedly trying to get as much as discount for Aguero and Rossi, the offer for Tevez looks very shocking indeed.
As for Inter, the Nerazzurri’s affection towards Tevez hasn’t been a secret anymore as since last season the link between them have been surfacing quite a lot of time. However, things seems to finally set up this summer as the Man City star is looking for a move away from Eastlands, while the Beneamata with their new coach is reportedly considering a bid if they lose Sneijder to United.
Rumors in Italy suggested that the huge money that they supposedly will be getting from Sneijder deal, will be used to purchase Tevez from City. However, still it depends on whether the Dutch international is really leaving Inter this season, since theres still major doubts from the player and also clubs about the ex-Real Madrid player’s future.
The Nerazzurri are definitely considering the fact that Sneijder is a fan favorite at San Siro, so selling him might definitely be something that would upset Interesti all over the world, but should they get a big name such as Tevez in return it might be an acceptable solution. One thin for sure, there seems to be an interesting battle between Inter and Juventus this season in many areas before everything heats up on the pitch.
