Three Serie A Representatives in the Champions League have already announced their players list for the competition with both Ac Milan and Napoli revealing their 25 A list players while Inter Milan submitting all of their squad including the B-list youngsters.
Some interesting decision made by the Milanese duo as they omitted several names such as Mathieu Flamini, Fillipo Inzaghi, Stephan El Shaarawy (for Milan); Ivan Cordoba, Andrea Poli, Luc Castaignos, Muntari (for Inter) due to injuries and personal preferences.
As for Milan, the reason for Flamini and Inzaghi’s omission from the Champions League squad for the first round is mostly because of physical condition, the former picked up a bad knee injury and won’t be available for 5-6 months while the latter still having fitness issue up to now. Meanwhile, for El Shaarawy, there are some random reports stating that he might still be available for the B-list but further notice about the youngster should be known shortly.
As for Inter Milan, the likes of Cordoba and Muntari’s omission are pretty much because they’re not being considered as important first team squad anymore by the new coach, Giampiero Gasperini, Meanwhile, for new arrivals Andrea Poli along with Luc Castaignos, the conditions might be similar to El Shaarawy, although so far bot are also being left out from the B-team list, still further notification about it might be available soon.
Napoli didn’t left out any of their new signings or important names as the likes of Gokhan Inler, Mario Santana, Blerim Dzemaili, Goran Pandev and Marco Donadel all made the A list along with important stars such as Marek Hamsik, Ezequiel Lavezzi and also Edinson Cavani. The competition will be huge task for the Partenopei especially as they are being drawn with strong opponents such as Bayern Munich, Villarreal and also Manchester City.
