ITA MNT Mission 2010: Agent Camoranesi

Briefing: Agent Maura Camoranesi (aka “The Argentine Assassin”) has played for the MNT in over 40 missions and was an important cog in their Mission 2006 machine. Born in Argentina, he ended up playing professionally in Italy before ever being selected for the ARG MNT’s squad. Thus, the ITA MNT made him their dangerous double agent.

Special Skills: Agent Camoranesi has performed ably for Serie A side Juventus since 2002. His style of play is reminiscent of that of his childhood idol, Diego Maradona, and he is reputed to have one of the most accurate crosses in the world. He is also a stingy defender who can move into the middle of the field to thwart an enemy’s attack.

International Actions: Agent Camoranesi was first selected for MNT duty in 2003 and he has made quite an impact for the squad, including during Mission 2006. After the agency successfully eliminated their last target in Germany, his teammates quickly chopped off a good portion of his lengthy hair during the boisterous celebration.

Mission: Agent Camoranesi’s mission, should he decide to accept it, will be to collect goals and assists during Mission 2010. The Argentine’s age (32) could prevent him from being called up for Mission 2010 though, as Director Lippi may want to give a younger player the important experience. This message will self-destruct in five seconds.
