Inter Eying Cerci, Welcomes Sneijder Boost for the Derby

Not only eying to ‘steal’ Carlos Tevez from Ac Milan’s grasp, Inter Milan reportedly are also pondering their chance in acquiring Fiorentina’s talented winger, Alessio Cerci, who doesn’t seem to be in the plan of Viola’s new tactician, Delio Rossi.

The possibilities of the Nerazzurri making a move for Cerci is very possible since they are planning to loan out young winter, Luc Castaignos, this winter, opening up another space in that department.

Ranieri’s plan in setting up a 4-4-2- formula by adding wide players wound definitely opens up space for Cerci, who actually had a pretty good start of the season with Fiorentina, before fading ahead of the winter break. The former Roma man is also known to be a troublesome at times and it seems Rossi has been having a problem with the young player, who was also linked with a move to Manchester City in the beginning of the summer transfer season.

Meanwhile, Inter themselves are set to receive a boost ahead of the Milan Derby this weekend as their Dutch playmaker, Wesley Sneijder, reportedly could return from his troubling injuries. Sneijder’s availability would definitely makes Ranieri’s options in preparing to battle the Rossoneri gets bigger, although the tactician might need to change his current winning squad so the Dutchman can be accommodated.

Sneijder has been missing from the field of play for the last two months due to having a muscle strain in his leg but the midfielder was already seen training fully with the whole squad on Inter’s last trainig session. It would be interesting to see whether the Dutchman can get his place again in the squad this weekend considering he has just return from a long injury and other players, such as Ricky Alvarez has been doing well recently in taking the ex-Real Madrid’s man place.
