After weeks of unclarity, finally the saga concering Gokhan Inler’s future ended earlier today as the player is pretty much confirmed as a new Napoli player after he was being presented to the Naples public during the club’s new jersey presentation.
In a very unique yet classy way, Inler was being introduced to public wearing the number 88 jersey under a tiger mask, which simply surprised people as the player appearing was the one that many has been longing to see in Azzurri shirt.
The player’s appearance simply ended the worries that the Partenopei fans had as earlier, Udinese have claimed that Inler’s deal with Napoli failed to materialize and the midfielder is set to join the Friuliani for their upcoming pre-season. However, finally the Criscito tragedy didn’t happen for Inler as with the special presentation it kinda looked that the Swiss international is actually being specially prepared to surprise everyone at the club’s special day.
Inler himself was excited about his move to Napoli stating that from now on he will be concentrating in giving the best for his new club, especially providing the best results in all major competitions that the Partenopei are participating. Moreover, the Swiss international midfielder also stated that he can’t wait to play alongside young talented players at the Southern Italian based team, pretty much implying the potential to form partnership with the likes of Edinson Cavani, Marek Hamsik and Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Every objective is important and it will be nice to play for all the major honours that are available on a weekly basis. I decided to come here some time ago. I’m very happy that I can now play alongside them.”
Inler’s arrival will definitely make Napoli’s midfield stronger as the player is being considered as one of the best midfielder in Serie A, with the ability to conduct and control the center of the play.
