Ibrahimovic to Milan Is Not Impossible

Zlatan IbrahimovićSpeculation about the possibility of Ac Milan to sign Barcelona’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic this summer keeps getting stronger, especially after the recent statement from the Rossoneri’s director general, Ariedo Braida who said that the deal won’t be impossible to do.

However, Braida also stated that if Milan were to sign Ibra one of their current attackers might have to leave first in order to free a space for Ibra.

According to recent rumors, Klaas Jan Huntelaar could be the one being sacrificed by the Rossoneri if they are serious in signing the Swedish striker.

“In order to sign a new striker, we’d have to sell one. Having said that, everything is possible. Yes, this can happen,” Braida said to the press.“ It doesn’t just depend on us, as it also depends on Barcelona and the player. It’s not easy to sign Ibrahimovic, but it is possible.”

With Braida’s statement, this last couple of weeks might be an interesting time for Milan’s fans as the club could very well land a big summer signing after all. Surely should Ibra joins the Rossoneri, not only he could upgrade the team’s attacking quality but it would also bring back the fans enthusiasm for the upcoming season which will certainly effect the ticket sales.

Just as Braida said, signing Ibra would not be an easy thing for the Rossoneri especially with the current financial status, however reports from Spain said that Milan would probably make a loan deal for Ibra and pay half of his wages. This deal won’t actually be perfect for Barcelona but it’s actually pretty suitable as without paying the full wages of the Swedish striker, the Catalan club can at least save more money next season.

The other option for the 28-years-old striker would be to play in EPL with Manchester City that are also still eager to buy him despite having already signed Mario Balotelli not so long ago. Financially, City might be the perfect choice for both Ibra and Barca as the English side does have the money to buy and also pay the former Inter Milan attacker’s wages.

However, according to the latest report Ibrahimovic isn’t really keen on moving to Manchester and would rather go to Milan if he really has to leave Barca. The chance to play in the Champions League, club’s stability and also personal request from his wife are said to be the main reasons that the Swedish star opted the Rossoneri instead of the Citizen.
