Up Until a month ago,Inter were headed for a fifth successive scudetto and the rest of the big four Milan, Juventus and Roma were floundering in the top ten aiming for at least a spot in next years Champions League competition. How things change. Inter are now fighting for the scudetto and they might not even make it through to the quarters of the Champions League.
whoever said that the Serie A is a boring league must definitely not know his football. It might not have the publicity that the EPL and La Liga enjoy but it is still the best league in my opinion. After starting the season poorly, Milan have made great strides under rookie coach Leonardo to move up to position 2 in the Serie A standings just a point behind rivals Inter Milan.
Their in form star Ronaldinho should be credited with his performances of single handedly carrying the Rossoneri through one of their most tumultuous times. Its only a shame people like Dunga do not appreciate such effort. Milan is not the nly team in contention for the league, AS Roma also have an outside chance of winning the coveted trophy.
Although 6 points off the pace, Roma can get their title hopes back on track if they beat Inter Milan on Sunday March 28th. This will inevitably make the race more exciting than it already is . First things first though, Inter face a must win fixture tonight against Chelsea. All that can be said about this match has been said and its now left for the players on the pitch to prove to us who is better.
Mourinho needs this win more than anything. Inter have to win the Champions League to help them cement their status as a European giant. Tonight’s match will definitely be a fire cracker and you can be sure that tournaments winner will come from this match.
