Felipe Melo Confirms Juventus Exit

juveThe news about Felipe Melo’s future at Juventus has reached his end this summer, turned out to be something more than just a rumor after the Brazilian himself confirmed that he will be leaving Turin soon.

Melo also revealed that his next destination won’t be coming back to Brazil but still play in Europe as the player admitted that a deal is soon to be finalized and the offer is a pretty exciting from financial perspective.

Moreover, Melo also stated that the decision to leave Juventus is being reached through an agreement made with the Bianconeri directors because of the length of his contract and also the salary that he had. The Brazilian midfielder said that continuing to play in Serie A might not actually be the most suitable situation for his future career especially in financial terms.

“I’ve received an offer from Europe that will vastly improve my salary. We’re finalising the details and over the next few days everything out to be complete. I was not cut from the Juventus squad. Quite simply, in agreement with the directors, we decided it was inconvenient that I should only play in Serie A, considering my salary and the contract that runs to 2014,” Melo stated.

The indication about Melo’s potential move from Juventus pretty much visible after the Turin giant scrapped his name from the players being called up for the club’s US Tour, leaving the Brazilian in Italy despite the fact that he is not actually injured. Playing two seasons with the Bianconeri, the former Fiorentina star has been receiving more criticism rather than praises as he never seems to completely settled like when he was still playing for the Firenze based outfit.
