Ac Milan are very close to acquire Genoa’s young talent, Stephan El Sharaawy, with only medical check up along with contract signing pending the move due to the player’s educational needs as he must conclude his exams first.
The news revealed by the player’s agent, Roberto La Florio, on Monday, might be able to calm down the nerves of some Milan fans as many media already reported the deal is very close yet the official announced still hasn’t arrived as just yet.
The player’s representative also confirmed that the player won’t be staying at Genoa as although the Rossoneri for the moment only took 50% of El Shaarawy’s contract but the young trequartista will be joining Massimiliano Allegri’s team this upcoming summer. Florio believes that his client has all the tools to become successful at Milan and the Marassi based team would definitely hope that the 18-years-old would be able to do well at San Siro, so the last half of the deal will also be snapped by the Serie A champion.
“He’s virtually a Milan player, He just has to have his medical,” Florio said. He will immediately be a part of the Milan squad. He has good prospects for the future and I’m sure that he will do well.”
Reports already spread last weekend that the deal was pretty much agreed already but El Sharaawy still can’t make his medical because of the exams that the youngster still need to do so he can finish his high school. Uniquely, the Rossoneri processed the deal for the 18-years-old shortly after the club’s vice president, Adriano Galliani, said to the press that he likes the fact that El Shar is a Milan fan and he could be one soon.
Milan themselves have already shown a serious interest for the attacking midfielder since last season as the player already caught the eye in the primavera level and also Italian national team youth setup the year before. Performing very well in Serie B with Padova, the Rossoneri can’t seem to hide their interest anymore as they immediately make a significant move to invest on the youngster, as their aim to make the squad younger each season seems to be heading into the right direction.
