Content Milan Players Looking Forward for Second Leg Against Barcelona

Ac Milan put on a solid display at home when facing Barcelona, although they didn’t manage to score a goal but getting a 0-0 draw wasn’t actually a bad result for them as the players hope that the result could push them more in the second leg.

The brace stars such as Massimo Ambrosini, Clarence Seedorf, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and others also promises their fans that they will fly to Catalan with the same spirit as they showed at San Siro.

Ambrosini, who was very solid on the match stated that although getting a 0-0 draw isn’t actually an excellent result, considering the opponent they’re facing, the captain said that it’s pretty acceptable. Meanwhile, Seedorf also rues some of the miss chances they created, which were more clear cut than Barca’s opportunities in the game, the Dutchman hope that aside from giving the same solidity, Milan must be much better in front.

“These are great games to play. This draw should give us trust and courage. We’ll go there with the score at 0-0 and we’ll play. We have to be honest, we ‘re facing a team that has defined their era of football but we’ll go and we’ll play it. There was the right spirit tonight, before, during and after the match. We’ll go to Barcelona with trust in ourselves,” Ambrosini said.

“We’re satisfied even if we have be more clinical. We had three chances and that could make the difference. It’s a good result that leaves qualification open. We’ll need courage, quality and tactical attention,” Seedorf added.

Meanwhile, star striker, Ibrahimovic revealed that he remains optimistic about his side’s chances in getting into the next round but Ibra insisted that they must make the most of their chances in order to go through. The Sweden international was among the ones missing a goal scoring chances as he fired his shot too weak when already got into a shooting space inside of the Catalan side’s penalty area, a very rare miss indeed for the ex-Barcelona man.

“It’s a good result and I’m happy because we didn’t concede but I’m less happy with the fact that we didn’t score with the chances that we had. The important thing is to make the most of the chances that come.” Ibrahimovic said.
