Amauri also reveals that he really wants to prove himself this season at Juventus and in his attempt to do that, the striker has reject any speculation of going to Real Madrid. Previous reports stated that, Jose Mourinho is interested in bringing the striker to La Liga as the 29-years-old player is being touted as Raul Gonzales’ replacement.

“Real’s interest changes nothing for me. I want to challenge myself in the Juventus jersey. This summer, after everything that happened last season, it would be easy to demand a transfer.” Amauri stated, “I didn’t do that because I want to do well with Juve.”

With his statement, the striker has followed the footsteps of David Trezeguet and Diego who previously also revealed their wishes to stay at the Bianconeri this season despite being speculated to leave the club. Now all Juventini are eager to wait whether Amauri can fulfill his promise of giving the best to Juve this season, so far things has looked bright for the 28-years-old as not only scoring two goals for his club last Thursday, reports also said that Italy’s national team’s new coach, Cesare Prandelli is considering to give him a call up for the national team.
