Having bad results in their first two games in Serie A surely isn’t helping As Roma’s confidence before their important Champions League match against home side, Bayern Muenchen on Wednesday.
However, a little bit positive note for the capital side arrives after the latest reports in Italy stated that the Giallorossi will have a reinforcement after the return of Brazilian striker, Adriano, who has just recovered from his injury.
The Brazilian who has been missing from Roma’s two Serie A games because of having a muscle injury managed to make a speedy recovery as the medical team previously stated that the former Inter player won’t supposed to play until late September. Although Adriano’s return won’t probably helped the Giallorossi’s performance on Wednesday, at least he might be able to give a morale boost to his teammates.
Sadly for Roma, despite Adriano’s return for their upcoming Champions League match, the capital team will be playing without Phelipe Mexes, Mirko Vucinic and also Rodrigo Taddei. These absentees might caused their chances in picking themselves up after two poor results especially the last league game where the Giallorossi were being demolished 5-1 by Cagliari.
The Brazilian arrived to the capital city on a free transfer deal from Flamengo this summer and earlier he is being touted as an important signing for Roma this season especially if he can regain his best form. Unfortunately, just weeks before the league started reports said that Adriano’s physical condition is not that good as he still fails to reduce some of his weight that caused the disappointment of the Giallorossi’s coach, Claudio Ranieri.
