Barcelona on the road can be a treat to watch but Deportivo La Coruna is confident that they can bring Barca’s streak to halt when the men from Camp Nou travel to Galicia in search of 9th consecutive win on the road. Although making such allegations can come back to bite them, La Coruna striker Adrian Lopez feels that his side will be the better side when they meet at the Riazor on Saturday night.
“They are without doubt the best team around at this moment. We need to give it everything and I’m sure that we are going to give them many problems.” Said Lopez to La Voz de Galicia.
Having advanced to the next round of the Copa del Reym Deportivo is hoping to carry it’s confidence into their match and shit-down Barca. However it’s no easy task to stop a streaking Barcelona and with Real Madrid trailing the defending champions by just a win, I doubt that La Coruna will be able to pull of the win on Saturday.
Do you think that Deportive La Coruna will be able to muster out the win on Saturday night? Think Barcelona’s 29 goals in 8 away matches will come to a halt? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below.
