After getting involved in some transfer deals early in the season, it looks like Ac Milan and Genoa are setting themselves up for another marketing agreement very soon.
The reports from Italy stated that the two teams are lining up an interesting transfer strategy that could see the moves of some players to both sides.
The Rossoneri reportedly is eying to take Salvatore Bochetti from the Griffone and will sent Marek Jankulovski to acquire the young Italian defender’s service. Not only that a much more interesting deal is also on the cards as Milan could also get Kevin Prince Boateng from Portsmouth should Genoa manage to purchase him from the English club.
Although those deals seems odd and complicated but it’s a very likely and possible thing to do as both clubs would get an equal advantages from the transfer strategy. However, things seems to get a bit complicated after latest reports suggested that Jankulovski doesn’t want to leave Milan and Genoa still having problem in convincing Portsmouth who also received an interesting offer from Lazio.
The clarity regarding this transfer plan should arrive this week as both teams will try to work out everything that could make those deals possible. At this moment the more delicate situation from the two deals would the Bochetti and Jankulovski swap as the for some reason Czech doesn’t seem to like the idea of leaving the red and black colors.
However, Milan and Genoa reportedly still have a back up plan in concluding Bochetti’s move to San Siro which is by inserting other Rossoneri players, Ignazio Abate or Daniele Bonera as part of the deal. Although personally I kinda think that the first plan is actually the most positive move for all parties rather than the back up plan, but this kind of transfer move is always complicated because there’s also the players’ personal wishes that can’t be discarded.
Should this deal can be finalized, it could be one of the most exciting one especially for Milan as they can solve some of the problems they’re facing only by making a connection with one club. As many have known, the Rossoneri have also signed two players from Genoa, Marco Amelia and Sokratis Papasthoupolous who so far in the pre-season matches have been proving that they can be an important players this season.
