Ac Milan Eying Champions League Final

AC MilanAfter making two major signings in the last weeks of the transfer market, Ac Milan are feeling very confident about their season as not only aiming to end Inter Milan’s winning streak in the league, the Rossoneri also hope to have a successful campaign in the Champions League.

This voice of confidence was shout out by the coach Massiliano Allegri who believes that with the current players he have on the squad, the Rossoneri should do well in Europe stating that getting into the final in London should be the team’s new target.

“We have a squad of the first order. We must get to the Champions League Final.” Allegri said to the press.

Backing his coach’s words, one of Milan’s new signings, Robinho, also share the same thought as Allegri by confirming that his team does possessed more than enough quality to get into Champions League Final, The Brazilian even added that should the Rossoneri do earned a ticket to London next May, he hopes that the Italian giant will be meeting Barcelona in the final.

“We have such a strong side and in attack we’re amazing. I would very much like to play the Champions League Final against Barcelona,” Robinho stated. “We’ve got to try to win every competition that we take part in.”

This kind of optimism is surely a good way to further boost the players and especially the fans spirit who have been dropping significantly lately especially before Milan signed Ibrahimovic and Robinho.
The two stars arrival seems to wipe out the negativity of many people regarding the Rossoneri’s future this season, despite even without those two players, last weekend the 17th time Serie A champion managed to defeat Lecce 4-0 with a wonderful performance.

Meanwhile, knowing the fact that currently Milan have four amazing attackers in their squad, Ronaldinho, Pato, Ibrahimovic and Robinho there have been many suggestions that Allegri should just start all of them in a game. Answering the suggestions, the former Cagliari coach, stated that although he doesn’t deny that those stars can play together, the coach won’t be hesitated to do that right away and opted to wait until the players get to know each other first.

“Sure they can, but it depends on the games. Let’s allow them to get to know each other better.” said Allegri.
