A Rumour Worth Ignoring

Milan are known to make big blunders when it comes to choosing who stays in the team and who leaves however, this latest report in all honesty is just unrealistic.

These unsubstantiated rumours claim that Milan are ready to sell their Brazilian striker Alexander Pato to Manchester City for 65 million Euros and then use the money to buy Palermo’s Javier Pastore and Liverpool’s Steven Gerrard.

Now Pastore is a very goo player and joining Milan would boost their attack options, however, the Argentinian is keen on staying with Palermo until his 5 year contract runs out in 2014.

As for Liverpool’s Steven Gerrard joining Milan, i don’t see that happening in this lifetime. The Liverpool skipper was linked with a move away from Anfield in the summer but it did not materialise.

. This is however a tall order considering the fact that Arsenal have won only 2 of their 17 meetings with Chelsea.

“You have to acknowledge that Chelsea have been better than us in the last five years. We are in a league where teams win the Champions League – it’s difficult – but we are in the top eight in Europe.

“We have never been higher than now in the whole history of the club. You can’t say we aren’t ambitious to be No. 1.”

In Italy, champions Inter Milan welcome Juventus to the San Siro for the Italian derby. Both teams are in good form and that should provide for an exciting match.

Inter have never been won in that venue for the last 2 years and they will be keen to avoid defeat to Juventus. The Bianconeri on the other hand are experiencing a good run and will want to move further up the Serie A table by beating Inter.
