1) Andrea Caracciolo of Brescia
Caracciolo has 18 Goals so far this season and the Brescia star has his side believing that this might finally be the year that they climb to the top division. Still plenty of football left to be played, but Brescia has been impressive this year and they do have an above average offense.
2) Mauricio Pinilla of Grosseto
Pinilla’s 17 Goals is right up there among the best in the league and the forward plays for the best offense in the league as well. If the year ended today then Grosseto would be going to the top division, but Pinilla might make it a special season if he can lead his to the top division and lead the league in goals scored.
3) Salvatore Mastronunzio of Ancona
The Mastro of Disastro has 16 Goals this season and that is nearly half of his six place side’s production for the season making him an instant contender for Most Valuable Player. If Ancona can shock the world and make it to Serie A next season then this guy deserves some credit.
4) Mirko Antenucci of Ascoli
Ascoli’s porous defense will keep them out of first class football next year, but they do have one of the best strikers in the league in Antenucci. The guy has 16 Goals this year and he is doing his best to aid his 13th place squad.
5) Alessandro Noselli of Sassuolo
Sassuolo’s leading scorer, Noselli, has 12 Goals this year and is good enough to be considered for top five results in the league. I like Noselli’s chances of making it to the big time next year and hopefully his second place squad can hang on to that coveted spot.
