I had some similar - and some different - reactions on Soccer Soap Box a few days ago. One thing I always need to ask - what is the realistic better alternative to the penalty shoot out? The legs were pretty much gone at that point, there wasn't much good soccer to be had if they kept going. Curious on your thoughts . . .
