It had been announced earlier that Tottenham would be playing in four-team tournament at the new Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey, from July 22-25 along side Manchester City, Portugal’s Sporting Lisbon and the New York Red Bulls.
Prior to that, Spurs will head west for a training camp in Northern California, highlighted by a game against San Jose at Buck Shaw Stadium on July 17.
“The summer camp will be a very important part of our preparations for the new campaign and we’re looking forward to heading out to the United States,” Spurs manager Harry Redknapp said.
San Jose and Spurs signed a football and commercial partnership agreement two years ago with Frank Yallop’s squad visiting the Tottenham training ground for their pre-season preparations in March. Buy San Jose Earthquakes vs. Spurs Tickets
