Rooney Wonder Goal Keeps United Top Of Premier League

An absolutely brilliant overhead kick from Wayne Rooney gave Manchester United all three points in the Manchester derby and all but eliminated Man City from the title race.

Elsewhere Blackpool and Aston Villa drew 1-1. Birmingham City beat Stoke 1-0 and Blackburn Rovers against Newcastle ended goalless.

    Rooney’s goal was so good, the American sports show “Sports Nation” gave it three cheers, the most amount of cheers one can get on that show.
