Mexico‘s next soccer game in the U.S. will be September 24th in Los Angeles versus Chile. This game will mark the U.S. debut of former England coach Sven Goran Eriksson.

The game, which will be Mexico’s fourth game in the U.S. this year, will be played at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum with an 8pm kickoff.

It is the first time that Mexico has played in Los Angeles since it lost to Guatemala 3-2 last October in the Coliseum in front of over 42,000 fans.

Mexico and Chile met last year in the Copa America where the teams played to a scoreless tie.

Chile currently sits in 4th position in the South America World Cup qualifying ahead of Brazil. Chile is lead by Striker Humberto Suazo who scored twice in Chile’s 3-2 World Cup qualifying win over Venezuela in June. Some other stars for Chile are Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Arturo Vidal and Inter Milan striker Luis Jimenez.

The pre-game activities will inclide Futbol Fiesta, a 100,000-square-foot interactive fan zone that includes live music, games, celebrities and thousands of promotional items, also returns.
