Four members of the Los Angeles Galaxy and three from the New York Red Bulls were named to the MLS All-Star First XI over the weekend.
Here are the eleven players who received the most All-Star votes among fans:

M-David Beckham, Jack Jewsbury, Brek Shea, Landon Donovan
F- Thierry Henry, Chris Wondolowski
This is not necessarily the lineup that will start in the 2011 MLS All-Star Game against Manchester United on July 27th. The U.S. threw away a two goal lead and lost to Mexico 4-2 in the final of the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup in front of more than 93,000 at the Rose Bowl. Mexico will now represent CONCACAF at the Confederations Cup in Brazil in 2013.

It was a little surprising that with all the big names touring the U.S. this summer, that no Italian were involved. Well that changed with the news that Juventus, the 27-time Italian champion, will play three friendlies in America in late July.
Only one of the three games has been formally announced and it is a good one. Real Madrid has announced the third and final game of its U.S. tour this summer and it will take the Spanish giants to Philadelphia to play the Union July 23 at Lincoln Financial Field. Kickoff is set for 9pm.

Just days after announcing that the LA Galaxy will play Real Madrid on July 16th and the LA Coliseum, the Galaxy announces that they will play Manchester City on Sunday, July 24 at The Home Depot Center.

The Emirates Cup has quickly become one of the best pre-season touraments and the 2011 edition is shaping up to have some great games.
Arsenal have announced the teams who will be competing in the 2011 Emirates Cup this summer, and the big news is that Thierry Henry will return to play against Arsenal.
